A Caregiver’s "No Lift" Solution
Nylon roller band assists in repositioning (61" L x 28 1/4" W)

  • Easily reposition a patient in bed
  • Effortlessly turn a resident in bed
  • Laterally transfer a patient from bed to gurney
  • Ergonomically inclined handles to assist in “No Lift” maneuvers

ErgoSafe® Slide Tubes can be used to move a heavy patient up or across a bed, sit them up, turn them, and help them get out of bed without pulling the patient’s body, arms or legs, and without the caregiver having to lift. It is made from a strong nylon material sewn into a long roller band and is wide enough for a patient to lie on. Webbing handles are on both sides of the sheet around the full length, which are used to turn or slide the patient.

ErgoSafe recommends that caregivers practice with the ErgoSlide® and view our demo videos prior to actual patient care, as working with each other will allow you to appreciate the feeling from the patient's perspective. It is imperative to provide proper patient care and to limit risk of injury to caregivers through the use of ergonomic manual handling aids such as the ErgoSlide®. Learning to turn, sliding patients up and down in bed, or simply repositioning the patient can be accomplished safely and easily by implementing the standard use of an ErgoSlide® in your healthcare facility today.

ErgoSafe Products works closely with nursing homes and other care giving institutions to provide patient handling devices to assist caregivers with their daily tasks of moving and repositioning patients. Call ErgoSafe today and begin employing safer conditions for your employees and patients.

Videos:
"The "Get a Lift!"® Program has reduced lift/transfer related employee injuries by 90% in approximately 400 long-term care facilities in the past 9 years by integrating the use of mechanical lifts. After virtually eliminating this exposure to injury, the injuries related to pulling patients up from the end of the bed and turning patients became an obvious costly injury for the caregivers and their employers. Prevent, Inc. began incorporating the ErgoSlide® into the "Get a Lift!"® Program in 2004." — Betty Bogue, President, Prevent, Inc.
